No Money From Clinics: How This Site Stays Independent
Korea Plastic Surgery is an independent information site about plastic surgery in South Korea. We take no referral fees, commissions, per-inquiry or per-booking payments, advertising fees, sponsorship money or any other payment from clinics, hospitals, doctors or patient agencies. We do not arrange appointments, quotes or treatment. This page explains what that means for the pages you read here. It was last updated on 26 September 2026.
1. No Clinic Pays Us for Anything
No clinic can pay to appear in one of our neighbourhood lists, to sit higher in one, to be mentioned in an article, or to be described more kindly. No clinic pays us when a reader contacts it, books a consultation or has surgery there. There is no partnership, sponsorship or affiliate arrangement with any clinic named on this site.
2. We Do Not Refer, Book or Coordinate
We do not introduce readers to clinics, pass on reader enquiries, request quotes on anyone’s behalf, schedule consultations, or arrange interpretation, transport or accommodation. We do not act as an agent for foreign patients. If you decide to contact a clinic after reading this site, you deal with that clinic directly.
3. Why a Clinic Appears Here
Our neighbourhood lists record what a public Naver Place search returned on a stated date, in Naver’s own order, with paid placements removed. Articles mention a clinic only when it is relevant to the topic. Neither route involves any contact with, or payment from, the clinic.
4. Being Listed Is Not Being Recommended
A clinic’s presence on a list says only that Naver showed it for that search on that day. It is not a claim that the clinic is safe, skilled or right for you, and a clinic missing from our lists is not a sign that it is worse. We do not rank clinics.
5. Advertising and Sponsored Content
We do not sell advertising, paid placement or sponsored articles. If that ever changed, this page would be updated before any such arrangement began, and anything paid for would be labelled at the top of the page and kept out of clinic lists.
6. Prices
No clinic can influence a price we report. Any price we publish shows where it was observed and on what date, and it is research, not a quote. Our neighbourhood lists carry no prices at all. How we handle price data is set out in our Price Research Methodology.
7. Reviews
We do not write, commission, edit or pay for patient reviews. The review counts in our lists are Naver’s figures. Some blog reviews on Naver are sponsored by clinics, which is one reason we treat review totals as a measure of visibility rather than quality.
8. No Guarantees
Nothing on this site promises a surgical result, patient safety or suitability for a particular person. Those questions belong in a consultation with a qualified doctor who has examined you.
9. Nothing False, Whoever Asks
We do not publish invented reviews, credentials, prices, patient stories or outcome promises. When we cannot support a statement, we say it is unconfirmed or leave it out.
Three Questions for Anything You Read Here
What does the clinic say about itself? Tags, specialties and claims copied from a clinic or from Naver are provider information.
What did our research record? That is the dated search or source described on the page.
What could not be confirmed? We say so on the page, and it is worth checking with the clinic or an official register yourself.
